T.E. Electrical VAP on "Advancement in Electrical Engineering using Machine Learning" [A.Y. 2019-2020]

Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it learn for themselves. The process of learning begins with observations or data, examples, direct experience or instruction, in order to look for patterns in data and make better decisions in the future based on the examples that we provide. Considering the Machine Learning role/importance in Electrical Engineering field as many control systems are built on a state model approach, and there are coefficients associated with each part of the state model. There are lots of rules for determining what the coefficients should be, but if the state changes, such as the insulation on a motor aging, or bearings losing lubrication, or the power factor on the feed changing then those coefficients change. But what do they change to? Based on this fact/problem we the team of electrical engineering decided to arrange Machine Learning Value Addition Programme (VAP) this year. One-week Value Addition Programme (VAP) was scheduled for T.E. Electrical students from date 15/07/2019 to 20/07/2019. Mr. Vidit Mathur, the eminent resource person was the trainer from Aedifico Training Institute PVT. LTD. New Delhi (110092) and Prof. Rohit G. Ramteke was the VAP Coordinator. As per the contents and scheduled discussed with Mr. Vaseem Durrani, Director of Aedifico Training Institute PVT. LTD. New Delhi (110092), the trainer from his firm taught each and every contents to students start from basics of Machine Learning and Python to complex difficulty level.
The students enjoyed all the sessions of this VAP and satisfied with this technology. Considering the difficulty level of projects and real time application based projects, all the toolboxes, variables, functions, datatypes, List, Tuple, Arguments, various libraries like numpy lib, Matplot lib, Pandas etc. was well explained by the trainer by solving each query/problems/doubts of students. In the last session of VAP, the projects were distributed among group of students. Now, students are excited to work more on this technology based projects and exhibit/present their project work/model in ViSION-2019 project exhibition.

Industrial Meet of TE Electrical students with Mr. Anand Jayawant, Director of MIMIC-Electrical Switchgear and Led Products Factory

Robotics is one of the branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots. This field overlaps with the knowledge of electronics, electrical, mechanical, computer science, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology and bioengineering. Considering above all aspects, students of T.E. Electrical completed their Value Addition Programme (VAP) project under the guidance of Prof. Rohit G. Ramteke and examined/judged by Mr. Anand Jayawant in ViSION-2018.
During visit and after evaluation of all projects by Mr. Anand Jayawant, he promised to our students that, “he will provide industry support and exposure to work on their projects in future and to convert their project into prototype”.
That why our head of department Dr. Sharvari H. Sane was in touch with him by telephonic contact and finally we got an opportunity to meet with delegates from Additional Ambernath Manufacturer’s Association [AAMA] & MIMIC on 20/01/2019.

During visit/meeting with Mr. Anand Jayawant Director of MIMIC-Electrical Switchgear and Led Products Factory, give brief introduction about business process to convert project work into prototype/product. By understanding the students queries and career goals, he highlighted the life goals for business in practical way and also the finance attributes to achieve goals.
Though the students are ready to work, he explained the Up’s and Down’s in business starting with various steps. He strictly told the students and faculties that, “In every work you have to maintain the documents and only dedicated & passionate students should be come in group or in next meeting”. He wasn’t stop there but explained the business opportunities starting from our nearby societies as primary business & secondary business. Later he kicked the students mind just by explaining with consideration of human body and business opportunities to generate revenue.
Later, he give introduction of Mr. Umesh Tayade, Chairman of Additional Ambernath Manufacturer’s Association [AAMA]. Mr. Umesh Tayade motivate the students for business and was happy to interact with such enthusiastic students and he not only promised to work with us but also ready to provide all necessary and required exposure to our students in future.
At the end of meeting Mr. Anand Jayawant give one project task to students considering application point of view for four week time deadline. And he called us for next meeting after four week.
Later, meeting was concluded with expecting next meeting soon and solving any doubts of students. For this meeting and visit Dr. Sharvari Sane was in touch with Industry Delegates and Students along with Prof. Rohit G. Ramteke.

T.E. Electrical VAP on "IoT with Python using Raspberry Pi" [A.Y. 2018-2019]

PYTHON is a general purpose, high level, remarkably powerful dynamic programming language used in a wide variety of application domains. It is one of the most popular programming language today. It easily performs tasks that proprietary tools like MATLAB and Mathematica offer.
One-week Value Addition Programme (VAP) was scheduled for T.E. Electrical students from date 14/01/2019 to 19/01/2019. Mr. Rohitkumar, the eminent resource person was the trainer from  Aedifico Training Institute PVT. LTD. New Delhi (110092). Prof. Rohit G. Ramteke was the VAP Coordinator.

As per the contents and scheduled discussed with Mr. Vaseem Durrani, Director of Aedifico Training Institute PVT. LTD. New Delhi (110092), the trainer from his firm taught each and every contents to students start from basics of Internet of Things (IoT), PYTHON and Raspberry pi to complex difficulty level.

The students enjoyed all the sessions of this VAP and satisfied with this technology. Considering the difficulty level of projects and real time application based projects, all the toolboxes, variables, functions, datatypes, GPIO, etc. was well explained by the trainer by solving each query/problems/doubts of students.
In the last session of VAP the projects were distributed to students in groups. Now, students are excited to work more on this technology based projects and exhibit/present their project model in ViSION-2019 project exhibition.
